Families and senior citizens in paticular enjoy our children- and senior friendly bungalows which offer a perfect starting point for hiking tours (more than 8000 km of marked hiking trails), mountain tours, bycicle tours (more than 1200km of bycicle and mountainbike tracks), excursions and sports activities like swimming,surfing, sailing, horseback riding and tennis (125 tennis courts and 2 halls) in the beautiful holiday region Klopeinersee-Turnersee.

The 18 hole panoramic golf course, which is only 1 km away, is a unique experience for golfers.

The Petzen is an absolute highlight for enthusiastic mountainbikers. There is the first Country Trail of Austria with its 10 km trail – the longest mountainbike trail of Europe.in addition to that the Petzen offers three Cross Country Strecken, one practice parcour pump and dirt sectors, a bike wash system, bike service, bike rental and a bike school.

The holiday region Klopeinersee-Turnersee in southern Cainthia is tremendously varied. Starting from our bungalows it invites to visit some of the many natural sights as for example:

• Wildensteiner waterfall (9 km)
  The Wildensteiner waterfall in Carinthia is one the highest free falling cascades of Europe.
• Obir-stalactite caves (20 km)
  Enter and discover Austria’s most fascinating subterranean world.
• Tscheppa-Gorge with crag (25 km)
  Hiking amidst breathtaking nature.Be impressed by thunderous cascades.
• Petzen (25 km)
  The Petzen is more than 2100 m high and has a wide variety of leisure options ranging from hiking, moutaineering, mountainbiking (cross border mountainbike net)  to tandem paraglider flights.
•  Hochobir (30 km)
  The highest moutain of the region with its sriking form and its height of 2.139 metres attracts everyone.
• Bird park Turnersee (1 km within walking distance)
  Be amazed by the rich variety of bird species at he lake Turnersee bird park. There ia also a terrarium, a children’s zoo and playground..
• Stalactite caves Griffen
  In the monstrous limestone rock of the Griffner castle hill you will find Austria’s most colourful cave.
• Nature protection area Sablatnigmoor
  The Sablatnigmoor (near lake Klopeinersee) goes back to an aggradation of a great post ice age lake ca. 12.000 years ago.

Culturally interested guests are recommended to visit the Werner-Berg-Gallery in Bleiburg (25 km), the “Südkärntner Festspielen“ in Eberndorf (9 km) and the castle Hochosterwitz  (35 km).

Sports mad guests can go Stollenbiking in the Petzen in Mezica (35 km) or Bungee-jumping from the Jauntal bridge. (30 km).
